Letus Direct offers two different types of Carl Zeiss lenses, SLR and Cine lenses. The Carl Zeiss SLR (ZF & ZF.2) lenses are full frame lenses that are compatible with our Nikon AI lens mount. The Carl Zeiss Cine (PL) lenses are designed to work with with Cinema cameras, and are compatible with our PL lens mount.

The current line of Carl Zeiss ZF lenses is being replaced by the new ZF.2 lenses. The new ZF.2 lenses now have an electronic interface that can control aperture priority, shutter priority, program AE, manual exposure settings, and transmit EXIF data on certain camera bodies These lenses will remain fully manual capable and will work great with Letus adapters using the Letus Nikon AI mount.
