Canon EF Lens Notes

Aperture Control

If your Canon EF/EOS lens has an electronic iris, you will need to adjust your aperture with the lens attached to the body of an EOS camera. Here is the process for setting the f-stop using an EOS body:

  1. Attach the Canon lens to your SLR Camera
  2. Set Camera to AV priority
  3. Set the desired aperture on the lens
  4. Depress the preview button and while holding it down detach the lens
  5. The lens will now retain that aperture setting
  6. You can now attach the lens to a Letus35 adapter
